Jamie embarks on a culinary expedition to explore the world's cultures and cuisines. Traveling through Europe and North Africa, he discovers a lot of interesting things about people and their national food. Following the tourist route, the British chef finds common and exotic foods while preparing delicious recipes along the way. From truffle and wild boar hunting in the French Pyrenees to spear fishing on an island near Athens, Jamie tries to discover the freshest, most authentic dishes; including street food in Marrakech, herring in Sweden and sweet shrimp in Venice. He immerses himself in diverse cultures, learning traditional cooking practices from local people and taking part in their cultural ceremonies.
